Look for cabinets with carcases made from Highly Moisture Resistant (HMR) board; this will provide longevity. The doors will vary based on the finish you choose. At Ross’s, our cabinets feature MDF doors. They are sanded and coated with one coat of primer paint and two coats of a 2-pack epoxy and are oven-baked between each coat.

Warranty

Like everything, you get what you pay for; and you will notice this in the warranty difference between flat-pack, pre-assembled, and custom-made kitchen cabinets.
