Description
Designed for compact spaces that still need airflow and light, the Double Hung Window Over Lowlite from Ross’s Discount Home Centre’s collection of Aluminium Doors & Windows delivers everyday practicality with a clean, vertical layout. This window suits homes where height matters more than width and function comes first.
The configuration places a fully operable double hung section above a fixed lowlite panel. This vertically stacked design keeps ventilation at eye level while allowing light to filter through the lower glass. It works well in hallways, stairwells, and bedrooms, where privacy and controlled airflow are equally important.
The upper section operates as a classic double hung sash window. You can open the top, the bottom, or both. Air moves naturally. The fixed lowlite below adds structure and visual balance without increasing complexity. This double hung window with lowlite offers a calm, practical finish that suits modern and traditional homes alike. Plus, custom window sizes and colours are also available on request to accommodate unique layouts and design preferences.
Built for local conditions, these aluminium double hung windows offer long-term strength with minimal upkeep. For homeowners choosing aluminium windows in Perth, this configuration offers a dependable solution that fits smaller wall spaces without compromise.
