Two-pack polyurethane provides the most durable finish for kitchen cupboard. Unlike melamine, laminate, vinyl wrap, or wood veneer, two-pack polyurethane won’t bubble, chip, or peel away from the substrate.

Two-pack polyurethane is applied in the same manner as automotive paint. It comprises a two-part solution of a hardener and a paint, which is applied in a dust-free environment.

All doors and drawers in our DIY Kitchen & Laundries range feature a white, high-gloss two-pack polyurethane finish to provide superior quality and longevity. In our manufacturing process, we first apply primer paint to the HMR board, then apply two topcoats of two-pack polyurethane, which is baked in an oven between coats to dry.
