What are the different types of Rangehoods?

There are several styles of rangehoods, including Undermount Rangehoods, Slide-out Rangehoods, Canopy Rangehoods, and Fixed Rangehoods.

Undermount Rangehoods are installed flush with the countertop. Draws are usually used instead of shelves for this type of rangehood
Slide-out Rangehoods are installed on the wall and can be slid out like a drawer for access to your stove
Canopy Rangehoods are installed flush with the ceiling and have a chimney effect
Fixed Rangehoods are installed on the wall and have no access to your stovetop. These are often used in island benchtops where a rangehood cannot be installed at head height.
